MSC Pace Lab is a cutting-edge training programme dedicated to young fast bowlers. Our trial sessions are designed to:

Led by ECB Level 4 Coach Prashant Patel and Fast Bowling Consultant Steffan Jones, MSC Pace Lab has produced bowlers now trialling for county and national teams.

Who Should Apply?
We’re looking for young fast bowlers with hunger and heart – not necessarily just experience.
You should be:
✅ Aged between 10–19
✅ Regularly playing cricket at school or club
✅ Willing to learn, train hard and receive feedback
✅ Ambitious to join a county pathway or elite performance group
✅ Open to both boys and girls, with focus on state school and pupil-premium access
Trial Schedule & Locations
September 21, 2025 –Nishkam School , West London
Fully-equipped venues with indoor nets and outdoor pitches Bowling speed guns, cameras, and strength equipment provided Safe, welcoming, and supervised environments
Free for Pupil-Premium Students (on application) £25 standard registration per participant
What Happens After the Trial?
Selected bowlers may receive:
✅ An invitation to the MSC FBE Development Squad
✅ Access to long-format training matches and performance reviews
✅ Scholarships and bursaries for year-round training
✅ Opportunities to travel with MSC to national and international festivals
✅ Fast-track entry into county, regional or ECB trials
MSC has placed players into the Bunbury U15s, England U19, and 13+ national teams including Ireland, Netherlands, and Italy.

No. We’re here to develop raw talent. We welcome players from school and club backgrounds—especially state schools—who are willing to learn and work hard.
Absolutely. We are fully inclusive and actively encourage girls to apply. We have dedicated girls squads, female coaching support, and tailored progression routes.
Yes. The trial session is £25. However, funding is available for Pupil Premium students or those from underrepresented backgrounds. We never turn talent away for financial reasons.

Yes. Every participant receives basic feedback and an opportunity to access their bowling footage. Selected players receive a performance report and next-step plan.

Yes – for the purpose of analysis and feedback. Videos will only be shared with the participant and relevant coaching staff, in line with MSC’s safeguarding policy.
